Police Investigating Suspicious Dog Deaths in Carlock
CARLOCK - The suspicious deaths of two dogs have police looking for answers in Carlock.
Two young dogs were found dead Tuesday evening near the railroad trestle in Carlock. The owner said she reported to police that her dogs were missing on Saturday.
A local veterinarian examined the dogs and believes that someone killed them before placing them on the tracks.
The dogs were sent to the University of Illinois where they are undergoing testing that will give more details on their cause of death.
In the meantime, Danvers police are handling the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 963-6330.
